Welcome to the Potteiger House Bed and Breakfast Inn, located in the heart of the Susquehanna Valley in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. We fell in love with Potteiger House from the first visit and saw immediately within the walls and gardens the place
where our dreams would come true.With
each passing year and each moment shared with our wonderful guests we are ever more gratified by our experience. It remains our
desire to pass along to each of our guests the special Potteiger House contentment we feel every day. We have taken great care to
preserve the atmosphere of comfortable elegance the home acquired in its prior life as home to two generations of the Potteiger
family. The downstairs common areas are open and spacious. Guests often relax by the fireplace in the living room or enjoy a spring or early autumn afternoon in the sunroom. The guestrooms are all named for the artists whose work appears in each room and are finely appointed with artwork and antiques.

We are located in the heart of the beautiful Susquehanna Valley and within three hours or less of New York City, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. Our region is a popular destination for those who enjoy "antique-ing", biking and hiking, river kayaking and canoeing, shopping, or just an easy stroll along the treelined banks of the Susquehanna River. With Susquehanna and Bucknell Universities in our backyard you can enjoy a visit to an art gallery or take in one of their many cultural and artist series events. In the fall "leaf-peepers" enjoy quiet drives in the surrounding countryside and in the winter time we see lots of cross country skiers.

No matter what the time of year many of our guests enjoy a visit to the highly acclaimed Selinsgrove Brewery, the micro brewery that is little more than a stone's throw from our garden. There are also several fine dining establishments in our Valley and we will happily make reservations for you.
